"The purpose of life is to listen - to yourself, to your neighbor, to your world and to God and, when the time comes, to respond in as helpful a way as you can find... from within and without."
My favorite aunt, Aunt Libby Johnson, always had time to listen. She would sit on her exercise bike, holding a dish of peach ice cream, and we would talk and talk.....she listened, she cared. I was blessed.

I'm going to make a conscience effort to do a lot more listening and less talking. It will be hard...but I will try.

That's a great goal for all of us to strive for. And I have to add, I love Sarah Palin too! She rocks.
