I was inspired the other day by my dear blogger friend LeAnn to decorate for fall a bit. My 3 year old granddaughter Leah was here and really got upset with me for putting pumpkins out before Halloween...."No, Gramma Re!" Leah said, "not yet! It's not Halloween yet, you're not posed to do that now!" So I didn't put any of the pumpkins with faces out or stuff like that. It was fun getting the decorations out and looking forward to the fall days ahead.
In Louisville the first weekend in October there is this huge arts show (750 artist) we never want to miss....The St James Art Fair , the setting is at a downtown park with lovely old mansions surrounding it. The best part for us is the atmosphere, outlandish art work, people watching and the best pumpkin rolls you will ever taste in your life! Dick and I were talking about them at breakfast...oh dear...can we make low fat pumpkin rolls??? We will probably go for the real thing!
Looking at these pictures makes me really miss the colors we have had at other houses, Benjamin Moore's Grasslands Green and Golden Tan. When we moved into the condo, they had it all painted one color.. Benjamin Moore's China Girl, we kept it thinking we would not be there long and neutral colors would sell better....but I sure miss the color on the walls. I also apologize for the quality of the pictures....got to get a better camera!! Or photographer!! :-)

I hopped over from Sara at Football & Fried Rice. What a beautiful blog you have! Congrats on your weight loss. I can't wait to peruse your recipes.
Your fall decorating is beautiful. I live in San Antonio and don't really get to experience a true autumn. Maybe a bit of decorating will make me think it is cool and crisp outside.
Are those plates enclosed in a matted picture frame? They are so pretty!
Have a blessed day~

I love your house. Are your chairs a cinammon color? They are so pretty. You have everything decorated so neat. Your time going out to eat to celebrate sounded so fun. Congrats on your small dress size. I hope you are doing great and sorry I have been away. I'm back :)
One little pumpkin roll one time a year...this can be done...or at least a slice. I'm planning on it. :P
Love all the pumpkins, I had to explain again to Leah tonight about it being okay to put pumpkins out before halloween. She's pretty headstrong about that. It all looks beautiful, as it always does. I need help doing a wreath...like big time. I just got to Hobby Lobby and Ben Franklins and just stare at the fake flowers and grapevine wreaths..if I buy the stuff, will ya throw me a bone and help a sista out?
Love ya!

I guess you could call them cinnamon..never thought about that...they are sort of dull red...cinnamon sounds so much better!!
