Been busy packing getting ready for a move...going through some yucky stuff too.
Life can take you places you really don't want to go, but with the power of God's help we can face anything, anything! I'm thanking God for my situation even though it may not be a great one right now....I'm thanking him for my future...

Ephesians 6:10-19
The Armor of God
10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.
12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
19Pray also for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel,

I hope your move goes well. Hang in there!
I'm new to your blog. But I thought that maybe I could give you a little chuckle and encouragement. I discovered your blog last week on the day that you posted the adorable pictures of your husband dancing in the kitchen! So fun. Since I had no context of your lives and most of the blogs that I look at are about home decor.. raising children...and following after God-the adorableness of those pictures was EXTRA sweet. JOY! Then I scrolled down to your Christmas pictures and saw how adorable you are! I was interested to see what you had to say about healthy living (I just had gallbladder surgery on Dec. 31) I thought, oh she probably lost 10 or 15 pounds (which would be fine..) I was SO amazed to see your pictures from last year! Wow! It gives me hope. I have 4 sons and a wonderful husband and I am shy in front of the camera like you WERE. I am 46 and probably need to lose 50-60 pounds. To see all those beautiful pictures of you with your grown children and grandchildren just thilled me. What a beautiful family! Thank you so much for giving me hope!
