Dick met me for lunch Friday afternoon and handed me this card....I went to mush.
My 40th high school reunion was later that night..
No matter what happened that night....
I knew there was a guy that loved me,
a guy that even though I never made Prom Queen,
a guy that even though I never made Prom Queen,
( Dick has always hated I didn't get to go to my prom,
back then preacher's daughters didn't do the prom thing...
no dancing allowed)....
thought I was his queen.

That is a VERY sweet card! And a sweet sentiment!! Seriously, you guys have got it going on - I loved hearing more about Dick's love for you (& for the kids - WOW!!!) If I had met a man like that, I think I'd have to hold on tight too!! You guys are blessed to have each other!

That's really all that matters...not needing to be noticed by everyone, but just the one person who's opinion matters the most. Sweet. I found someone who treats me like this...and it makes all the difference in the world!!!
