Our newest grandbabies Kate and Jack.........

We didn't know who would come first this summer...Jack or Kate...the anticipation was great! Then came the exciting phone call to Sissy and Shawn...we have your daughter!! Kate! Our Kate! Soon we were at the airport meeting our Kate for the very first time...
Glorious wonderful day! Kate is finally home...

Pop-Pop is one of Kate's very favorite people...they are like two peas in a pod...a joy to watch. Kate really loves little Jack, they will be very good friends I just know. New people make her a little wary, understandably, so when she came in our house this weekend to meet Rich and Rachel for the first time it took her back a bit. When Rachel picked up little Jack from his nap and held him, the ice was broken immediately... Kate saw the baby...oohh..baby...baby. I know Kate we all feel the same way! About you and Jack... baby oh baby!

It's hard to keep little Kate out of the water..she's a busy girl.

So smart, sweet, loving and kind.

Kate loves to sing and loves music. Her smile absolutely lights up a room...

I love you so much sweet baby girl!

Kate, our beautiful, beautiful girl...
A few weeks after Kate got home, we got the much awaited call from Rich...Rachel's in labor...get packed, meet us at the hospital!
Glorious wonderful day!! Jack is finally here!

Only 5 weeks old...Jack is his own little man. Although he spends a great deal of time sleeping and eating, this little guy coos, laughs, talks and I promise, he's already singing!
You can tell Jack has a great personality, so sociable!
I love you so much sweet baby boy!

Jack, our beautiful, beautiful boy.....

My cup runneth over!

Jack and Kate are beautiful. I am surprised at how much Jack has changed since the last picture you posted. Kate looks so happy and I assume that she is doing well adjusting to her new life. Can she say Grandma Re yet?

Grammma Re is always the last name my grandkids can get down...it usually starts with Re...fine with me!

Kate seems like she's been with us along, long time. She understands just about everything we say and already knows a lot of words...I love it when she says apple juice...she really draws it out. Sis has taught her sign language too and that works really well. So, so smart!
