Every Wednesday night we look forward to going to our small group meeting. Dick and I along with four other couples from our church meet at Deborah and Tom's gorgeous home overlooking the 16th green. Their home oozes with warmth and love....it's a soft place to land each week.
Tonight though, I learned a little something scary....
(thanks Deborah ;-).. a new found love,
candy corn and peanuts..
Silly good.
I can see myself now, counting out a serving of peanuts and a serving of candy corn. Totally worth it!

Sounds absolutely addicting!!
I thought of you today, as the Bolthouse Farms rep was at the grocery store giving out samples. I tried the new pear flavor and thought it was good. Last week I bought the Green Goddess and had to throw it out. Too much wheat grass for my taste. LOL.
The store had a special "buy one, get one free" offer, so I bought C-Boost and Berry Boost. The BH rep suggested mixing some of the fruit smoothie with plain yogurt plus a banana to make a protein drink. I tried it for dinner and it was great. She also recommended mixing C-Boost with sparkling water for a lighter drink.
Oh, isn't that yummy? I make that every Halloween. Some people say it taste like a Payday candybar, I just say it's a *little* handful of yumminess.
Lindy you need to start a blog! Very inspiring! I just believe if you deny yourself something "off the charts" it keeps us from feeling left out and sad...so I really limited them and keep tabs...but no guilt!
I've noticed the last month or so the C-Boost flying off the grocery store shelves...
Love the idea for the smoothie!
We love this mix too. I make it every fall and put it in a glass pumpkin jar. It looks so pretty! I think it tastes like a salted nutroll candy bar. Yummy!
Oh, I loce candy corn, and I love peanuts. Have never tried them together. Maybe two corns and a few peanuts I could handle, without too much of a spike. Worth a try.
Have a great Thursday! It's dreary and rainy here. Yuck.
Charlotte says: This was a favorite mix when we tailgated in the fall but with a little twist. To add insult to injury we added the fall colored M&M's too!!
It's a favotite at our house too...unfortunately;)!!!
Enjoy!!!
XOXO
Cathy
I am not a candy corn lover but actually had this combination last year and I really liked it. The salty peanuts make the candy corn not so sickening sweet. It's a great combo!!
Hugs,
LeAnn:)
