I'm a happy girl when my granddaughters come to spend the day! How many gramma's got to hang out in a playhouse yesterday ... ;-) Leah and Kate are all over the house playing, but spend the bulk of the day in the basement where their playroom is. We do lots of projects too on that little table you see in the background. Leah is sitting on the snack table engrossed in a cartoon.
(I'm thinking I may look a bit like Alice from Adventures in Wonderland ;-)
Leah's in her element here...Wilbur and a Sprite.
Gramme Re...."I'm your granddaughter aren't I?"
Oh, yes you are and I love you so much! ***hugs all around***
During the previews at the movies if Leah is not keen on one of them showing, she always leans over to me and says...
"we will stay home for that one, okay?"
One thing is for sure....Leah is growing up so quickly!
That's a hot dog, french fries and ketchup, setting on my knees, served to me by Leah and Kate....they were extra special delicious! Pretend world is so much fun...and calorie free!
The old me would not have been capable of crawling into this playhouse. I was able to put in a full day with my girls and then go to the park and walk four miles. What more could a gramma want?

Oh my gosh you ARE a lucky gramma!!! WHAT a fun fun day!!! Those girls are so darling! I about cried to see little Kate's bandages :( It hurts me to think she's in any pain!
Hey, tell Melissa that The Henan Kids Project website is taking pictures for the 2010 calendar. I know a little girl who HAS to be in it!!!
Sara, Kate is a brave little girl...she puts her little hand out to be cleaned and dressed even though it hurts....love her so!
I'll let Sis know about the calendar.
Maree, you have ANOTHER new hair style. Very cute!! You look younger all the time.
Kate's bandages hurt me, too. I've wondered about how she is doing. I love her polka dot shoes. Sounds like a fun day for all.
Oh, my, what a lucky grandma Re you are, Maree, to be able to spend such a delightful time with those precious little girls! And then, even go for a long walk later. You really don't look old enough to be a grandma.
Hugs,
Renie
I love the pictures, they are worth a thousand words. I can see you enjoy and relish every minutes with your girls. I understand. You are making wonderful memories.
Daddy has his mri on Friday to see if the cancer is gone. His spirits have been very low, which is so unlike him. He has been sick for so long. We covet your continued prayers.
Blessings
