Every time Dick and I return home from our evening walk I look up to see the same bright star above our house, I can always depend on it being there. Just like we can always depend on the love and protection of our heavenly Father. He placed those stars and gave them all names. Awe, I'm simply in awe.
Here are the stars in the sky that he named one by one
We attended a memorial for a dear friends father today. He had fought a long and hard battle against cancer and is finally healed. He's with the Father today and he's okay, his family on the other hand are not okay. They will greatly miss him, he was only 63 years old and they were all hoping, praying he would be healed and live a long full life.

Further down in the same chapter of Isaiah 40 are these words of comfort ......
31 "but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
My prayers are with the Old's family today.

We have to believe that God DID heal him. Sometimes God's answers to our prayers aren't what we think they SHOULD be. I am so grateful that HE is omnipotent and He handles the details!
